Make your reservations early as southern Vancouver Island is a very popular holiday destination spot in the month of July and hotels, campgrounds and AirBNB rentals will book up quickly. It is best when booking your hotel or holiday rental to call directly to confirm current rules for pet stays and/or additional deposits or charges.
Communities close to the show grounds include; Brentwood Bay, North Saanich, Central Saanich, Saanichton & Sidney. All these areas are within 15 minutes of the show grounds. Downtown Victoria is approximately 30 minutes from the show grounds. There are additional pet friendly hotels available there.
The Saanich Peninsula is a very dog friendly place with many beautiful places, attractions and local AirBNBs that are welcoming to dogs.
